Our forest campground offers spacious sites that are sprinkled throughout a hardwood forest. Our sites were built in synergy with the forest, as it provides privacy and a canopy for shelter and shade.  All of our forest camping sites come with a picnic table, cook stand, fire pit and room to park one vehicle (additional parking available in our lower parking lot which is close by) and are located near our main office so a variety of amenities are close by.

Our Stargazing Cabin sleeps a maximum of 5 people and features a woodstove for heat, propane oven and stovetop in the kitchen. There is a propane BBQ available outside. You will have access to your own private outhouse and there is parking space for multiple vehicles.  Cookware and a set of 4 dishes/cutlery, dishsoap is provided. Water jugs are stocked. No hydroelectric, WiFi, fridge/freezer, housekeeping or meals are provided. Please bring your own bedding, cooler for food, lanterns.

We have three camping cabins located in our Forest Campground. These cabins are perfect for sleeping up to four people with one double bed and one set of bunk beds. They are made primarily from harvested wood from our forest and feature a solar light. They are located on their own sites with a picnic table, cook stand, and fire pit.

Price includes two adults and two children under 16. Additional adults are $10/night with a maximum of four people total staying in the camping cabin.

Among our forest camping sites we have a 3 tipi’s available for rent. Our tipi’s are authentically Manitoulin-made. They have built-in raised wooden floors and rain caps to protect you from the elements. They also come with memory foam pads for comfort. All tipi tenting sites include a picnic table, cook stand and fire pit. This camping experience is one of our most popular and books up quickly so make your reservation today.

Our dark sky campground consists of sites in our dark sky preserve. The sites are semi-private with some tree coverage and some open space, which is perfect for laying back in your gravity chair and stargazing. There is a communal open area where you will have horizon-to-horizon 360 degree viewing. We suggest this campground for those who truly want to experience the magic of the night sky and who want to be closer to nature. Each site comes with a cook stand, picnic table and parking for one vehicle (additional parking is available at the no white light lot). There is a communal fire pit at the main office that can be used during daylight hours, privy’s located close by, an eco shower, communal cooking area (including a BBQ), a large picnic shelter and garbage and recycling on site. No white light and dark sky preserve rules apply. This campground is located a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk from our main camping area.

Our Milky Way Bunkie is located in our dark sky preserve and features two double beds and a small table seating area. It has a privy close by and a large deck, perfect for stargazing. There is a solar light and windows that are perfect for viewing the stars as you drift to sleep. And as though that was not on theme enough for you there is a giant wall mural covering one whole side of the bunkie depicting the glorious Milky Way.

Please note NO AIR CONDITIONING, no pumpout, hookups, or dump station at the Park. Water is available from our outdoor tap. (UP TO 20 FT IN REGULAR no-hydroelectric SITES).

These truly untouched, wilderness campsites are situated in the fields and meadows of the Dark Sky Preserve in the interior of the park. This area is accessible by private road and is located a five-minute drive (20-minute walk)  from the main campground.

Amenities in the Dark Sky Preserve include a communal picnic shelter with tables, clean outhouses.

While staying in our Dark Sky Preserve certain rules apply. As such, there is no while light allowed. ALL sources of light must have a red filter (like a red plastic bag or red gel) to help preserve everyones night vision.

Campfires are not permitted in the Dark Sky Preserve due to white light policies.
